Assistant Culinary Manager- Full Time
The general role of the culinary manager is create delicious menus and food items with the amazing kitchen staff according to food safety standards and Gundalow’s high level of quality. Their duties include creating delicious menu items, performing quality control and creating inventory to keep up with demand.

$150 monthly stipend for healthcare

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Prepare delicious food for our gourmet shops 
- Manage kitchen personnel
- Create a monthly schedule for production with the kitchen operations manager
- Communicate needs to the kitchen operations manager for the kitchen including, but not limited to, personnel, equipment, ingredients
- Check-in ingredients for quality and safety. Do not accept any food that does not meet Gundalow standards
- Oversee inventory tracking of ingredients, paper goods, chemicals, etc. for kitchen
- Order inventory and manage deliveries with vendors
- Maintain temperature logs for both food and equipment
- Provide weekly kitchen updates at operations meetings
- Maintain the production spreadsheet and pull logs that are shared with the shop
- Onboard new kitchen employees and train front-of-house staff on light kitchen work (baking cookies, using the dishwasher)
- Hold monthly kitchen team meetings to collaborate and create upcoming and ongoing menu items, events, and holidays
- Course correct, rework items so that all recipes are up to Gundalow standards
- Cleaning dishes, workstations, equipment, And food storage areas in accordance with food safety regulations

Part-Time Kitchen Team/ Baker

Prepare delicious food for our gourmet shops 
Following recipes
Maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies needed for the recipes and daily menu
Putting away all inventory and checking ingredients as they come into the kitchen
Communicate and collaborate with our kitchen team on menu ideas, inventory needs, and more
Assisting with catering preparation, as needed, and also sandwich preparation
Following and documenting proper food handling and food safety procedures
Cleaning dishes, workstations, equipment, And food storage areas in accordance with food safety regulations.

Job requirements:

   •   must be able to stand for 6+ hours at a time

   •   Must be able to lift 50 pounds

   •   Must be able to twist and turn

   •   Must follow proper food safety rules and regulations

   •   Must be a team player and work well with others

   •   Must have a high attention to detail

Evening (until 7:30 pm) and weekend availability not required but is preferred
Keep a positive attitude and help promote a fun working environment
Respect all team members and positions

Starting at $15/ hour + tips. Varies based on experience.
